Doggles: What Hero Dogs Use

There's no question that dogs truly are man's best friend, particularly in the areas of law enforcement, search and rescue teams, and in the military. Dogs save countless human lives with their keen senses, detecting bombs, sniffing out narcotics, and finding injured victims.

Special Forces Require Specialized Equipment

Doggles are the go-to solution for Navy Seal dogs. They protect these highly-trained dogs' eyes from shrapnel, as well as flying debris while jumping out of Black Hawk helicopters. Doggles offer serious eye protection, but also fit snuggly enough to not come off during the most physically demanding operations.

Cairo, the world's most famous military dog, who helped take out Osama Bin Laden, was fitted with specialized dog goggles equipped with night vision and infrared capability that would even allow Cairo to see human heat forms through concrete walls, according to the Navy Seals website

Your dog may never take out terrorists in a daring nighttime raid, detect explosives, or find missing a missing person, but you can rest a little easier knowing that brave, highly-trained dogs are protecting us against whatever new threats our men and women in uniform may face now and in the future.

It's also reassuring to know that your dog's eyes can be protected with some of the same battle-tested gear that military and police dogs use!
